Leo Timmons, General Mills information technology director/application development, told the Star-Tribune that the VR recruiting tool generates and gives people a reason to stop by the company's booth at college campus recruiting events and job fairs.

General Mills tried out the new VR tour concept at the Univeristy of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management's recent recruiting event. Timmons said they will be taking it to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Iowa State and Michigan State. Of course, General Mills hopes it’s one more way to entice future employees, reports the Star-Tribune.
