More than 20,000 people filled the expansive halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center in mid-June for the Society for Human Resources Management annual conference, as talent professionals, hiring managers and executives came together to discuss how to drive change in the industry.
HR Dive reporters, myself included, were on the ground in Las Vegas attending sessions and interviewing experts on some of the big trends in human resources, including pay transparency, skills-first hiring, mental health accommodations, cognitive inclusion and artificial intelligence. Reporter Caroline Colvin also dove into controversy surrounding the speaker lineup at the conference.
