Career site and job search company Fairygodboss named its list of “best companies for women” Nov. 21. Since 2017, the company has sought to highlight the companies it deems successful at promoting gender diversity in the workplace.
The top 10 companies include:
- GE Vernova
- Rentokil Terminix
- Delta Dental Insurance
- Alteryx
- DTCC
- Invitation Homes
- Navy Federal Credit Union
- HubSpot
- UKG
- iCapital
Fairygodboss averaged the scores of the anonymous reviews left by women workers on the site. Three questions were asked about perceived gender equality, overall job satisfaction and recommendations to other women.
The career site also released additional lists of best technology and finance companies — and the ones with the best CEOs, the best flexibility and best managers.
The list comes amid widespread cuts and rollbacks to diversity, equity and inclusion programming throughout 2024. John Deere, Harley Davidson and Ford were among the major companies that released statements about shifts in their talent strategy and DEI resourcing.
Some experts have underscored the importance of doubling down on DEI to drive business goals — while meeting the cultural and compliance-related demands of the landscape.
Gabi Carachilo, an executive at Fairygodboss, said something similar in announcing the list of best companies for women.
“In today's ever-evolving workforce, it's crucial to elevate women and commit to gender diversity in the workplace,” Carachilo said, adding that prioritizing gender equity is about “building a stronger, more resilient future for everyone.”
