Here’s a roundup of some of the big moves in the human resources space this month.
- Associated Banc-Corp. announced on April 23 that Julio Manso will succeed Angie DeWitt, who is retiring, as CHRO effective June 2. Manso has worked as executive vice president of human resources at KeyBank, N.A., since November 2020 and previously served in senior HR roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. He will be responsible for all HR functions.
- Hyatt Hotels Corp. announced on April 18 that Kristin Oliver will succeed retiring Malaika Myers as the company’s new CHRO effective May 12. Oliver has worked in C-suite roles at HanesBrands, Walgreens, Chico’s and Walmart and will be responsible for managing the company’s global HR strategy for growth.
- Helio Fujita was named global people and organization vice president for Mars Petcare on April 10. Fujita most recently served as CHRO of healthcare company Fresenius Kabi and previously worked in leadership positions at Abbott, Novartis and Sandoz.
- Comviva, a telecommunications company, announced on April 7 its appointment of Bhagwati Shetty as CHRO. Shetty has more than 16 years of experience in manufacturing, technology, telecom and financial services and previously held leadership roles at Mahindra Group, where she promoted diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
- Caterpillar Inc. announced on April 3 the appointment of Christy Pambianchi to CHRO effective May 1. Pambianchi will succeed Cheryl Johnson, whose retirement was announced in January. Pambianchi has served as an HR leader for the past 18 years, most recently as CPO at Intel. She is a fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources and serves on their board, as well as on other HR boards.
